DIY (do-it-yourself) design is very popular nowadays. People prefer this kind of design, because it is practical and enjoyable to construct. Needless to say that brands like Ikea have a key role in demand for DIY products, additionally. Mark McKenna is one of the design studios that thinks hard on DIY designs. I found its package to design battery lights that seems fun. The kit contains a series of flat pieces, which you need to assemble. Then, you hook them up to a 9-volt battery, which should be the light source.
There are five different lamp kits for five models which are representations of the most famous designer lamps (Ingo Maurer’s Lucellino, Castiglioni’s Arco and Toio, Sapper’s Tizio, and Philippe Starck’s Miss K.).
